Olgio Hyaluronic Acid Line

Hyaluronic acid is one of the most popular ingredients worldwide for its moisturizing properties. Also known as NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor), it has an incredible water-binding capacity because it can bind up to 1000 times its own weight in water.

There are different forms of hyaluronic acid that differ in their molecular weight and can therefore have different benefits for the skin. The prefix "oligo" can be translated as "low" and refers here to the molecular weight of the hyaluronic acid contained, which according to the manufacturer is 5 kDa and would therefore be classified as a low molecular weight.
